Kidney Beans collaborated with the city of Palmetto, GA to provide free urine screenings and free consultations with Dr. Holmes to discuss results. Participants at this event played our Kidney Trivia Challenge game!
Doraville Health Screening

Kidney Beans set up shop to provide more urine testing. We also did a round of Kidney Trivia and engaged in thoughtful discussion surrounding kidney disease.
Union City Health Fair

Kidney Beans collaborated with Caresource as part of a local health fair. We provide free urine screenings and free consultations with Dr. Holmes to discuss results.
Warming Station

In collaboration with a local church, we helped to prepare beds and serve people needing shelter from winter weather conditions.
Say My Name

As a part of her diversity and inclusion initiative, Dr. Holmes hosted a workshop at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Washington, DC called “Say My Name”. This workshop focused on the importance of names and name pronunciation in our personal and professional lives.
Career Day

Dr. Holmes attended career day at Britt Elementary School where she was able to share her love of kidneys with young minds.
